In the end we sold 10 beads, and our local meet-up committed to $600. We missed $6000 pretty bad. Maybe next time around. Unfortunately we came up with this good idea a little too late. Thanks to those who supported us.

Update: Not many people are buying beads. Our local meetup #200, has committeed $600 to this effort. The manufacturer said he would do just 1000 if we could swing it. We could get by with just raising $2500, and shipping out maybe 500 press packets. We just need to sell 230 more beads, or some more $100 donations.

    This is an effort of New Orleans meet-up #200. Super Tuesday coincides with Mardi Gras day, a huge celebration in Louisiana. We want to Ron Paul Super Tuesday with custom Ron Paul Mardi Gras Beads. We want to send them to as many media outlets in Super Tuesday states as we can. Join us in our grassroots effort!     We need to raise $6000 to purchase at least 2500 mardi gras beads and send them out to as many Super Tuesday state's media outlets as possible. The packet would include a bead and a press release. All the stations will cover Mardi Gras and it will help them bridge into Super Tuesday. It will get people talking about Ron Paul.

    We are selling beads for $15 as a collectible. $5 covers overhead (bead,shipping,packaging), and $10 goes to the cause. Meet-ups should contact us about getting a gross (12 dozen) for their Super Tuesday events. Contact us at paulbeads@gmail.com it gets forwarded to us.
